An urgent meeting will take place in Ukraine with representatives of the general staffs of countries willing to send peacekeeping forces to the country.

This meeting will be held with a "very narrow circle of countries." Among them are the United Kingdom and France, reports "RBC Ukraine."

On March 15, UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer presented plans to deploy more than 10,000 Western peacekeeping troops to Ukraine during an online summit of EU leaders and NATO representatives, according to British media.

During a briefing, Zelensky said he was ready to discuss peace not with Russian President Vladimir Putin, but with other representatives. "It's like table tennis (ping-pong): it is not always possible to respond to what Putin says. In principle, we would agree to talk not with him, but with someone who represents Russia," said the Ukrainian president.

Zelensky emphasized that if there are representatives of business and regional leaders in Russia who have their own vision for ending the war, Ukraine is ready for dialogue with them.
