New 38 billion soum project launched in Uzbekistan

A new project on production of textile products worth 38 billion soums has been successfully launched in Kattakurgan district of Samarkand region of Uzbekistan. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Investments, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The production capacity is 5 million units per year, which contributed to the creation of 100 new jobs.
The project was initiated by MOBITEX TEXTILE FACTORES LLC.
It is important to note that Uzbekistan's textile products find significant demand in the markets of Russia, China, Kazakhstan, Türkiye and the European Union, and are exported to more than 55 countries around the world.
To support the export potential of the Republic, a system of tax privileges and preferences has been created, including exemption from excise tax on exports of excisable goods and application of zero rate of VAT on export supplies of goods except for precious metals.
