New boxing champions of Uzbekistan

The Uzbekistan Boxing Championship ended in Tashkent, where new champions were identified, ready for international achievements. The competitions were a bright event, which demonstrated the high level of organization, skills of boxers and use of modern technologies.
From January 21 to 26, qualifying matches were held in Tashkent, and on January 27 and 28, semi-final and final matches were held in "Renesans Hall." The championship confirmed Uzbekistan's status as one of the world's leading countries in Olympic boxing.
It is especially noteworthy that, in addition to famous boxers, many new faces were noticed at the championship. The team record of the championship was won by the boxers of Tashkent region with three gold medals, as well as athletes from Andijan and Bukhara.
Navbahor Hamidova was recognized as the "Best female boxer of the championship," and Asilbek Jalilov was recognized as the "Best male boxer."
Based on the results of the fights and selection of talented athletes, Uzbek boxing made an important step towards participation in the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games.
