A new cargo air route linking the city of Wenzhou in eastern China with Tashkent has officially opened. According to Xinhua, a My Freighter cargo aircraft departed from Wenzhou International Airport and arrived in the capital of Uzbekistan.

This is the first cargo route from Wenzhou to Central Asia. During its inaugural flight, the aircraft transported 50 tons of goods, all related to cross-border e-commerce.

The launch of the route coincides with the global peak shopping season — Black Friday sales and the upcoming Christmas holidays.
