New avenues for developing Uzbekistan–Germany relations were discussed at the Senate of Uzbekistan. The talks demonstrated that bilateral dialogue is entering a new phase, while cooperation is expanding across several key areas.

First Deputy Chairman of the Senate Sodik Safoev held a meeting with a German delegation led by State Minister for Europe at the Federal Foreign Office, Günter Krichbaum.

Both sides noted the high level of bilateral relations based on mutual trust and strategic partnership. The importance of active high-level political dialogue, which ensures steady momentum in cooperation, was particularly emphasized.

A key focus of the discussions was the development of interparliamentary cooperation. Plans were considered to intensify contacts between профиль committees, cooperation groups, and to organize mutual visits.

Special attention was also given to expanding trade, economic, and investment ties. The parties exchanged views on cooperation in education, culture, and healthcare.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the sides agreed to further strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation between Uzbekistan and Germany.
