New generation engineers prepared in Jizzakh
Uzbekistan
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with the activities of the Automotive Engineering School organized at the Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute.
Cooperation is established here with “BYD Uzbekistan Factory” and “ADM Jizzakh” enterprises to prepare skilled specialists and employ them.
The education programs are organized based on modern approaches in four areas specialized in transport. In particular, students who successfully complete the second course of the institute undergo a two-year dual education on modern education platforms, developed to BYD factory standards. The practical classes are organized in close cooperation with the production, ensuring the graduates to receive a special certificate-direction for work.
Candidates for work, current employees of the factory and youth aspiring to obtain a new profession are being trained in short-term preparation courses. Here, BYD mini-assembly line on the production of cars is established. The training workshop includes sections for welding, painting, assembly, and quality control.
Specialized classrooms have been organized in areas such as electric vehicle and charging station design, electric vehicle maintenance, industrial and software engineering, cost calculation, and reverse engineering.
There is one important rule in the global automotive industry: a company that does not analyze its competitor cannot develop.
For the first time at the Jizzakh Engineering School, students are being taught skills in technical and analytical product comparison, cost modeling, production optimization, and aligning processes with global standards.
The school is open not only to students but also to young people and professionals who wish to work in the industry. It offers professional development programs, basic vocational courses, and practical modules for entrepreneurs. Leading specialists and experienced engineers from industrial enterprises participate in these programs.
The main goal of the school is to immerse students in a real production environment even before employment. As a result, graduates become well-prepared, competitive specialists who fully meet the demands of the market.
The Head of State observed the educational process and spoke with students working on the mini-conveyor.
The President also held a discussion with the republic and the region community. It was noted that in recent years, Jizzakh has shown good results in industry, agriculture, and other sectors. However, the region’s potential is still not fully utilized.
- We have come to Jizzakh to identify new growth points. The main task is to create decent conditions for the population, especially for young people, and to provide them with well-paid jobs, - emphasized the Head of State.
