At the meeting chaired by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, issues of socio-economic development of Jizzakh region are being discussed. Sherzod Asadov, press secretary of the head of state, informed about this.
In the last seven years, there have been big changes in Jizzakh. At the same time, the existing potential for raising the economy to a new level, developing entrepreneurship and increasing the income of the population in the Jizzakh region is not being fully utilized. It was shown that the activity of the regional and district leadership in this regard is very slow.
As a result of the studies, it was noted that new opportunities and reserves that will give economic impetus were identified in 13 districts of Jizzakh.
The head of state explained these opportunities on the example of Zarbdar district and instructed to allocate 130 billion sums for their implementation.
