Last night the new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan Gairat Fozilov arrived in the capital of Belgium and the EU. This is reported by the agency "Dunyo".
Gairat Fozilov served as Deputy Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan in 2015─2017 and 2021─2023. He graduated from the University of World Economy and Diplomacy at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
"In the system of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs since 1996. He started his diplomatic service as an attaché of the Directorate for Co-operation with European Countries. He worked in various positions in the central office, the National Security Council under the President of Uzbekistan, embassies in France, Belgium, the Mission to NATO. In 2018-2021 he was ambassador to Japan," the report said.
