Nodirbek Abdusattorov Ranks Among the Highest-Paid Chess Players

The shess.com platform of the International Chess Federation has published a list of chess players who earned the largest prize money in tournaments during 2024.
According to the list, India’s Gukesh Dommaraju, who became the 2024 World Chess Champion in classical chess, earned $1,577,842. He was followed by Ding Liren with $1,183,600 and Magnus Carlsen with $639,369.
It is noted that Uzbekistan’s Nodirbek Abdusattorov earned $132,981 in 2024, placing him 12th among the world’s highest-paid chess players.
To recall, Abdusattorov achieved this by participating in 12 prestigious tournaments last year. Moreover, Nodirbek is preparing for the "Tata Steel Chess-2025" tournament, which will begin on January 17 in Wijk aan Zee, Netherlands.
