Nuriddin Ismoilov elected Speaker of the Legislative Chamber

During the session, in accordance with the Law "On the Rules of Procedure of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan," members of the lower house formed a council of political party representatives from among the deputies to nominate a candidate for the position of Speaker of the Legislative Chamber.

Following a short break, deputies, through a secret ballot, elected Nuriddin Ismoilov, a representative of UzXDP as the Speaker of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, based on the council's recommendation.
