According to the latest data published by the Statistics Agency, as of December 10, 2024, the permanent population of the Republic of Uzbekistan has reached 37,537,757 people. This figure indicates the continued demographic growth in the country.
In terms of gender distribution, the population is divided as follows:
Number of men: 18.9 million.
Number of women: 18.6 million.
Currently, men make up 50.4% of the total population, while women account for 49.6%.
The regional distribution of the population also presents interesting statistics. Tashkent City, Samarkand, Fergana, and Andijan regions lead as the most densely populated areas. Meanwhile, the Republic of Karakalpakstan and other rural areas have relatively lower population densities.
