President of Uzbekistan leaves on a working visit to Kazakhstan

President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, at the invitation of President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, departed for the city of Astana on July 3 to participate in the upcoming meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) and the "SCO Plus" meeting, his press service reports.
The events will discuss current issues of further development of cooperation within the SCO and improving the Organization's activities, as well as international and regional cooperation challenges.
The President of Uzbekistan will also hold a series of bilateral meetings with heads of foreign delegations.
