Processes for the Movement of Individuals Across the State Border Will Be Further Simplified
Uzbekistan
The government has adopted Resolution No. 44 "On Further Simplification of the Processes for the Movement of Individuals Across the State Border of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as the Transportation of Goods and Vehicles".
According to the resolution, the regulations for the movement of vehicles through border crossing points using the automated information system "Electronic Queue" have been approved.
To use this service, an authorized person may book a queue on the official website of the Customs Committee or in waiting zones where the queue management system is implemented.
If a vehicle does not arrive at the designated time as specified in the queue management system, the booked electronic queue will be canceled.
Additionally, the resolution has approved the regulations for using the "Fast-track" service for the movement of individuals across the State Border.
According to these regulations, to use the service, individuals or representatives of legal entities may apply through the official website of the Customs Committee, electronic payment systems, or verbally at the border crossing point during movement.
The control of individuals using the service, as well as their hand luggage and baggage, will be carried out without waiting in the general queue in designated areas by state control authorities, except for the users of this service.
The fee for using the service is 15% of the Basic Calculation Value (BCV) on the day of booking for each individual aged 18 and above.
