Manbij deadly terrorist attack: 15 dead, dozens wounded
The explosion occurred at the southern entrance to Manbij, liberated from PKK/YPG terrorists during Operation Dawn of Freedom in December 2024. According to local authorities, no group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack, however, a version of PKK/YPG militants' involvement is being considered.

The wounded were taken to nearby hospitals, and, according to doctors, the number of casualties may increase.

This is not the first terrorist attack in Manbij in recent years. On Saturday, an explosion in the city center killed four people and injured nine more. In total, since the end of December 2024, 28 civilians, including women and children, have been killed and 45 injured in seven attacks in this area.

Terrorist activity in the region is intensifying despite the efforts of the SNA forces to ensure security after the liberation of Manbij.
