It is noted that Chairman of the Committee on Tourism Umid Shadiev met with a delegation headed by Deputy Chairman of the Board of Qatari company Power International Holding Maurice Ghattas.
At the meeting, a presentation was made on the reforms carried out by the state in the tourism sector in Uzbekistan.
Qatar's investments in tourism infrastructure projects in Uzbekistan were discussed during the bilateral dialogue.
"Among them are the construction of hotels in historical cities of the country, the construction of a railway for high-speed trains and a toll motorway in the direction of Tashkent-Samarkand, as well as projects to create an international all-season theme park in Tashkent region," the report said.
