A new historic achievement has been recorded in Uzbek chess: an 11-year-old athlete has earned an international FIDE title, becoming one of the youngest title holders in the country’s history.

Young chess player Khusnorakhon Khusnitdinova has been awarded the prestigious Women FIDE Master (WFM) international title, granted by FIDE for high sporting achievements.

She has become one of the youngest recipients of this title in Uzbekistan’s history, confirming her high level of play on the international stage.

Obtaining the WFM title opens up new opportunities for professional growth and participation in prestigious tournaments.

Khusnorakhon’s success is the result of her talent, systematic training, and the support of coaches who played an important role in her development.

Earlier, in 2023, she won a bronze medal at the Asian Junior Championship held in the United Arab Emirates.
