Ronaldo is now continuing his career in the film industry

Football legend Cristiano Ronaldo has now taken a new direction — not towards sport, but towards the world of art, more precisely, Hollywood. In collaboration with renowned British director Matthew Vaughn, Ronaldo has launched an independent film studio called UR•Marv. The football star announced this news on his X (Twitter) page.

Ronaldo is now continuing his career in the film industry
Matthew Vaughn is one of the most distinctive and dynamic directors in modern cinema. Known for films like “Kingsman”, “Kick-Ass”, and “X-Men: First Class”, Vaughn has developed a unique style that he is now sharing with Ronaldo. Together, they have already shot two films, and a third is in production. Interestingly, all the films are interconnected through a shared storyline — possibly the beginning of a new franchise.

According to Ronaldo, this is not just another acting experiment — it’s about management, investment, collaboration, and, in one word, strategic thinking.

Matthew Vaughn, for his part, is thrilled by the partnership. He said that the stories Ronaldo creates on the field could never be written in a script. Vaughn described him as a “real-life superhero.” And rightly so — Ronaldo has spent years perfecting both his body and his mindset, and is now bringing that excellence to the world behind the camera.

But this isn’t Ronaldo’s first creative venture. In 2023, he became a key investor in one of Portugal’s largest media holdings — Medialivre. In 2024, he launched his UR Cristiano YouTube channel, where he shares his personal life, daily routines, and behind-the-scenes moments with his fans.

Now, fans can enjoy watching their favorite football star not only on the pitch but also on the big screen — as a cinematic hero.
