The Federal Security Service (FSB) of Russia has prevented a series of assassination attempts organized by Kyiv's intelligence services against high-ranking officials of the Russian Ministry of Defense.

The following information has been disclosed:

▪️ Ukrainian intelligence services planned to remotely detonate a bomb placed under the vehicle of one of the officials. The bombs were disguised as a power bank and a folder with documents;

▪️ The FSB foiled a series of assassination attempts by Kyiv's intelligence services on high-ranking Ministry of Defense officials. Four suspects were detained;

▪️ A resident of Moscow collected information for Kyiv on the residences of the families of high-ranking Ministry of Defense officials;

▪️ The agent was unable to plant the bomb under the vehicle because he was arrested;

▪️ The bomb caches were discovered in the Moscow region;

▪️ Two individuals involved in the plot were recruited in Ukraine;

▪️ The Ukrainian agent planned to present the bomb as a gift to a Ministry of Defense official.

These events are part of Ukraine's terrorist activities against Russian military personnel, which were identified and prevented in time.

It is worth noting that on December 17, General-Lieutenant Igor Kirillov, head of the Russian Armed Forces' Radiation, Chemical, and Biological Protection Troops, was killed in an explosion caused by an explosive device placed on a scooter near his house. This terrorist act was carried out by two Uzbek citizens who performed the task in exchange for a large sum of money and the promise of European citizenship.
