Russia remains the leader in the number of new enterprises in Uzbekistan

In January-April 2023, the number of newly created enterprises with foreign capital exceeded 1,000 units. The leaders in opening new companies in Uzbekistan are: Russia — 341, China - 187, Turkey — 99 and Kazakhstan — 74 and Korea — 42, according to the Statistics Agency.
Further in the top 10 are also located: Tajikistan — 27, Kyrgyzstan - 25, Turkmenistan - 24, Azerbaijan — 17 and the USA - 14 new enterprises opened.
For comparison, in 2022, almost 3 thousand new enterprises were created with the participation of foreign capital, and the leaders in their number were: Russia — 967, Turkey - 369, China - 275, Kazakhstan - 195 and Korea — 92.
