Russia will use ballistic and cruise missiles in case of war with NATO

Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev has said that in the event of a military conflict with NATO, Russia will be forced to give an "asymmetric response" and use missiles with "special warheads".
Medvedev noted that in the event of such a conflict, it would not develop according to traditional scenarios and would not involve the use of artillery, armoured vehicles, drones and electronic warfare. Medvedev stressed that NATO is a huge military bloc with a population of almost one billion people and a total military budget that could amount to one and a half trillion dollars.
"Due to the disparity in our military capabilities, we will simply have no other choice. Our response will be asymmetric. Ballistic and cruise missiles with special warheads (i.e. nuclear weapons) will be used to defend the territorial integrity of our country. This is based on our strategic military doctrines and is well known to everyone. This is the very collapse. The end of everything," the deputy chairman of the Russian Security Council emphasised.
Medvedev noted that currently "all European leaders are cynically deceiving their citizens" by talking about the need to be ready "for war with Russia." He also noted that despite Russia's statements that it has no plans for conflict with NATO and EU countries, dangerous talk on this issue continues.
