On June 25, First Assistant to the President of Uzbekistan Saida Mirziyoyeva met with the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Uzbekistan, Beibut Atamkulov. She announced this on her Telegram channel.
"Today, we had a meeting with the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Uzbekistan, Beibut Atamkulov. We discussed opportunities to strengthen the cultural and historical ties between the two countries. We agreed to put in even more effort to bring our peoples closer together," she wrote.
It is worth noting that on April 5, 2024, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, and the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, held a meeting in the city of Khiva. During this meeting, they discussed further strengthening the Uzbek-Kazakh strategic partnership and alliance, as well as expanding comprehensive practical cooperation.
