The development of Uzbekistan's pharmaceutical industry depends on closer cooperation between science, education, and innovation. These priorities were at the center of an open dialogue involving young scientists, researchers, and representatives of key government institutions.

Science, Education and Pharmaceuticals Join Forces
Uzbekistan's Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, Kongratbay Sharipov, together with Abdullah Azizov, Director of the Agency for the Development of the Medical and Pharmaceutical Industry, held an open meeting with young scientists, inventors, researchers, and academics working in the pharmaceutical sector.

Participants discussed current challenges facing the industry, strengthening cooperation between science, education, and innovation, improving the effectiveness of research, introducing advanced technologies into practice, supporting young researchers, and promoting promising biotechnology and pharmaceutical projects.

Following the meeting, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation and the Agency for the Development of the Medical and Pharmaceutical Industry signed a Memorandum of Cooperation. The agreement provides for expanded joint research, the training of highly qualified specialists, deeper integration of science and education, and support for innovative projects aimed at advancing Uzbekistan's pharmaceutical industry.
