Scientific directions for the development of the region were discussed in Karshi

A meeting of leading Kashkadarya scientists with representatives of the Coordination Council for Analytical and Research Structures was held in Qarshi. The focus is on science in the name of development: sustainable, innovative, and practice-oriented.
On April 18, a meeting was held at Qarshi State University between the scientific community of Qashqadaryo region and the leadership of the Council for Coordinating the Activities of Analytical and Research Structures, established by the Decree of the President of Uzbekistan dated December 31, 2024.
The event is organized as part of a comprehensive study of the region's socio-economic potential. The main goal is to identify growth points, identify promising areas, and develop scientifically grounded practical approaches for regional development.
Scientists presented specific initiatives in such areas as:
management of agriculture and water resources,
introduction of biochemical methods in agroeconomics,
teaching foreign languages using artificial intelligence,
saline land reclamation,
digitalization of tourism,
creation of a collection of medicinal macromycetes,
production of supercapacitors for alternative energy.
New interdisciplinary research areas aimed at the sustainable and competitive development of the region have also been proposed.
At the end of the meeting, the delegation got acquainted with the new educational base of the Faculty of Foreign Languages and modern language centers of the university.
