Speaking at a high-level session, Aziz Abdukhakimov, Advisor to the President of Uzbekistan, emphasized that water scarcity and air pollution have become the region's new reality. Consequently, Uzbekistan proposed focusing joint efforts on developing early warning systems for dust storms and utilizing satellite data and Artificial Intelligence for advanced environmental monitoring.

Uzbekistan’s experience in its "green" transformation strategy, led by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, garnered significant interest from participants. The "Yashil Makon" project and various biodiversity initiatives were showcased as effective models for climate change adaptation. Concluding the session, the Uzbek delegation invited international partners to Tashkent for the upcoming Global Environment Facility Assembly and the "Eco Expo Central Asia 2026" exhibition, which will serve as the next vital milestones for regional dialogue.
