On June 21, Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov presented to the government five individuals appointed to new positions by the decision of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
Abduvakkos Rafikov was appointed as Chairman of the Committee on Industry, Radiation, and Nuclear Safety.
Azim Akhmedkhadzhaev was appointed as Director of the Atomic Energy Agency.
Olimjon Umarov was appointed First Deputy Minister of Digital Technologies;
Jamshid Tursunov was appointed as Chairman of the Committee on Highways.
Amriddin Abdurakhmanov was appointed as Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Highways, responsible for implementing advanced foreign experience and digitalization in road management.
