On May 21, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a phone conversation with President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, reported the press service of the Uzbek leader.
The discussion covered issues related to the further expansion of multifaceted Uzbek-Russian cooperation and the strengthening of comprehensive strategic partnership and alliance relations.
The leaders of Uzbekistan and Russia reviewed the progress of the agreements reached during high-level meetings, as well as the schedule of upcoming bilateral events.
Special attention was given to increasing trade volumes, implementing cooperation projects among leading enterprises, and promoting cultural and humanitarian exchange programs, including through the activation of interregional contacts.
