Today, a grand celebration of the nationwide Navruz holiday took place in the "New Uzbekistan" park with the participation of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. The head of state delivered a speech at this significant event, warmly congratulating the people of Uzbekistan on this cherished holiday.
President Mirziyoyev emphasized that this year, Navruz coincides with the sacred month of Ramadan, adding a special spiritual essence, joy, and solemnity to the celebration. The head of state also extended his congratulations to the entire Muslim community, wishing for the fulfillment of pure intentions on these blessed days.
As part of the event, various exhibitions, theatrical performances, and concert programs showcasing Uzbekistan’s rich national culture, traditions, and customs were presented. Traditional spring dishes were also prepared and served to the guests.
