A new substation has been built in Shaykhantakhur district, near Pakhtakor stadium. Within the framework of the project, more than 19 kilometres of cable were stretched from the Tractorsoz substation and 2 transformers were installed. The facility will be put into operation next month.

Today, October 14, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with new infrastructure facilities and preparation for autumn-winter season in Tashkent. This was reported by the press service of the head of state.

In recent years, the capital has been growing both in terms of population and territory. Accordingly, the capacity of engineering networks is increasing.

In particular, a new substation has been built in Shaykhantakhur district, near the Pakhtakor stadium. Within the framework of the project, more than 19 kilometres of cable were stretched from Tractorsoz substation and 2 transformers were installed. The facility will be put into operation next month. As a result, an additional power source with a capacity of 130 megawatts will appear in the centre of the capital. The load on other substations in the city will be reduced, the probability of emergency situations will be reduced by 60 per cent.

Here, the head of state familiarised himself with the presentation on construction and modernisation in the power supply system of Tashkent. It was reported that 5 more substations are under construction and 4 more substations are being upgraded, they will provide 850 megawatts of power in total.
