In particular, the head of state visited the house of local resident Abdimumin Karimov. The plot of his household occupies 14 hectares, seven of which are occupied by a greenhouse. Chickens, bees and cattle are also raised here. The head of the household shared that his income reaches more than 200 million sums a year thanks to produce from his own vegetable garden.

"This typical household example demonstrates that it is possible to generate a good income if there is initiative in the family. Many people have homestead plots and many want to work on them, they just need support. For example, it is important to attract local enterprises to create greenhouses, as well as to provide beehives, seedlings, seeds and fodder as a single package of services and at an affordable price," Shavkat Mirziyoyev said.

The President also held a meeting with the "seven neighbourhoods". They discussed ways to intensify the use of local resources to increase family incomes and improve their purchasing power, which affects the quality of life, health and development of children, contributing to the progress of society.
