UN: Over 819,000 people forced to flee Rafah due to Israeli attacks
Over the past two weeks, more than 810,000 Palestinians have been forced to leave the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip due to Israeli attacks. This was reported by Anadolu, citing a statement from the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), posted on the social network X.

The agency emphasized that the lives of Palestinians are at serious risk every time they move from one place to another.

It should be recalled that on May 6, the Israeli army demanded that Palestinians evacuate the eastern neighbourhoods of Rafah. On May 7, the Israeli army announced the start of a ground offensive on the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip. On May 10, Israel's Security Cabinet approved the expansion of military operations in Rafah.
