At the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay an official visit to Russia on October 5-7. This was reported by the press service of the President.
It was reported that according to the program of the visit, negotiations between the leaders of the two countries will be held in Moscow. Shavkat Mirziyoyev will also meet with Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
"On the agenda of the upcoming meetings are the issues of further strengthening of bilateral strategic partnership and allied relations. Particular attention will be paid to expanding practical cooperation, primarily in trade and economic, investment, migration and humanitarian spheres," the statement said.
It is also planned that the President of Uzbekistan will visit Tatarstan and hold talks with the head of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.
