Shavkat Mirziyoyev visits Tian'anmen Square

President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, who is in the People's Republic of China on a state visit, has visited Tian'anmen Square in Beijing.

The head of Uzbekistan laid a wreath at the foot of the Monument to the People's Heroes, paying tribute to the fighters who gave their lives for the national independence and freedom of the Chinese people in the XIX-XX centuries.
For information: Tian'anmen Square is traditionally considered the symbolic heart of the Chinese nation. On 1 October 1949, the People's Republic of China was proclaimed here. The Monument to the People's Heroes was built in the middle of the 20th century.
