Today, August 2nd, an earthquake occurred in the Republic of Uzbekistan at 10:39 AM local time (05:39 GMT).
According to the Republican Center for Seismic Prognostic Monitoring of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the epicenter of the earthquake was located in the Gijduvan district of the Bukhara region. The earthquake had a magnitude of M=4.4 and a depth of 10 km. The epicenter is situated 351 km southwest of Tashkent.
