Erdogan calls on all countries to support Gaza peace initiative

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that security in Gaza cannot be ensured by massacres of children, women and civilians. Anadolu reported that.

"Our region must recover faster from this madness encouraged by Western countries and legalised by the Western press. I call on all states and international organisations to wholeheartedly support the initiative for an early ceasefire in Gaza. I call on the Israeli government not to intensify its attacks on civilians and immediately stop its destructive actions," the Turkish leader said.

President Erdogan says expanding attacks on Gaza will bring more pain, deaths and tears.

"It is obvious that it is impossible to ensure security by killing children, women and civilians and blowing up hospitals, schools, mosques and churches," he emphasised.

President Erdogan said that stability in the region can be achieved with the establishment of new mechanisms that guarantee the security of Muslims, Jews, Christians and all those who live there.
