Tajikistan calls information about the involvement of its citizens in the terrorist attack a fake

The Foreign Ministry of Tajikistan said that the Russian authorities had not contacted Dushanbe about the involvement of citizens of the republic in the terrorist attack in Crocus City Hall.

"We emphasise that the Tajik side has not received confirmation from the official authorities of Russia about the fake information currently circulating about the involvement of Tajik citizens. In this connection, we request that you rely on official information disseminated by the Russian State authorities. It should be borne in mind that the dissemination of unverified and unreliable information may cause harm to Tajik citizens who are currently outside the country," the statement said.
