Capital Police Chiefs of Nine CIS Nations Sign Security Protocol

Countering technological challenges associated with the exploitation of artificial intelligence to romanticize criminal lifestyles among adolescents demands that Commonwealth internal affairs agencies implement unified standards for monitoring and rapid response. At the VI Meeting of the Heads of Capital Police Departments of the CIS Member States, delegations from the law enforcement bodies of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan, alongside the leadership of the BKBOP led by Lieutenant General Oleg Konovalov, approved a comprehensive strategy to combat the entanglement of youth in cross-border illicit syndicates. The participants agreed that traditional preventative methods require deep modernization due to the comprehensive digitalization of drug trafficking and fraudulent rings.
The primary items on the agenda were the dismantling of recruitment channels that draw minors into radical and extremist factions aimed at destabilizing the socio-political environment, and the safeguarding of digital spaces against destructive media content. The law enforcement officials exchanged effective practical case studies and signed a final Protocol establishing new formats for interagency cooperation and restricted data exchange. Within the framework of the forum, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan, Colonel General Ulan Niyazbekov, presented the heads of delegations with departmental "За вклад" (For Contribution) medals for strengthening multilateral integration in regional security.
