Tashkent and Astana strengthen parliamentary dialogue

Saida Mirziyoyeva, Head of the Presidential Administration of Uzbekistan, met with Maulen Ashimbayev, Chairman of the Senate of the Parliament of Kazakhstan. The parties discussed the development of inter-parliamentary cooperation, as well as trade, economic, and cultural-humanitarian ties.
During the meeting, both sides noted the strong momentum in relations between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, built on mutual trust and active high-level dialogue. Mirziyoyeva stated that 2025 became an important and productive stage for bilateral cooperation.
The participants also discussed prospects for expanding parliamentary contacts and implementing joint projects in the economic and humanitarian spheres.
The Head of the Presidential Administration expressed confidence that practical cooperation between the two countries will continue to strengthen steadily.
