A profound tribute was paid to the memory of Amir Temur
These days, our country is widely celebrating a significant date – the 690th anniversary of Amir Temur. Numerous spiritual, educational, scientific, and cultural events are being held throughout the country to mark the anniversary.

Amir Temur is a great historical figure who, in the 14th century, during an extremely difficult period, restored national statehood in our country, demonstrating unwavering courage in the struggle for the freedom of his homeland. The powerful empire he founded left an indelible mark on the history of world civilization. Even seven centuries later, scholars around the world continue to study the life and work of Sahibkiran with great interest. The fact that thousands of artistic, scientific, and cultural works dedicated to Amir Temur and the Temurid era have been created in various countries, a list that continues to grow, testifies to the truly enduring significance of his personality and legacy.

Our compatriots feel a sense of pride and satisfaction that such a great figure as Amir Temur was born on the sacred soil of our homeland. A thorough study of the history and legacy of Amir Temur and the Temurid era is more important than ever, especially today, in the context of the New Uzbekistan. The Temurid Renaissance created by this glorious dynasty has become a source of confidence, inspiration, and creative energy for our people, laying the foundation for a new Renaissance in our country.

Such wise sayings of Amir Temur as "Strength lies in justice" and "Justice makes the world prosperous" today serve as a unique blueprint and practical guide for the implementation of large-scale reforms aimed at building a social state and elevating human dignity in our country. In this sense, Sahibkiran's legacy is not only part of our nation's glorious past but is also inextricably linked to our current development and strategic goals.

In recent years, our country has placed special emphasis on the in-depth study of the legacy of Amir Temur and the Temurid era, as well as their widespread popularization both domestically and internationally. To this end, a separate resolution was adopted on the occasion of Amir Temur's 690th anniversary, and extensive work is underway.

In particular, April will be celebrated annually as Amir Temur Month. New scientific and fiction books, films, plays, and works of fine art are being created. In particular, the famous "Code of Temur" has been republished. Our country boasts state awards, squares and alleys, and educational and cultural institutions bearing the name of our great ancestor. The Temurbeklar Maktabi schools operating in the regions serve as a unique model for nurturing youth in the spirit of devotion to the Motherland.

A clear example of the consistent and systematic continuation of this noble work is the fact that a prestigious international conference dedicated to Amir Temur and the Temurid Renaissance is currently taking place in the capital. Along with scholars from our country, prominent historians, poets, and writers, as well as cultural and social representatives from around the world, are participating.

Following the teachings of Sahibkiran, today our country places great emphasis on building a just state, providing assistance to those in need, supporting youth, women, and the elderly, developing science and education, fostering creativity, openness to the world, and cooperation with various countries. These aspects also clearly demonstrate the relevance of Amir Temur's legacy in our lives today.

In order to understand our identity, restore our rich history, and pass on our ancestral legacy to future generations, major spiritual and educational centers have been built in recent years. The Center for Islamic Civilization was built in Tashkent, and the Imam Bukhari Complex in Samarkand. Alongside these centers, the State Museum of the History of the Temurids, built 30 years ago, has been reconstructed to meet modern standards. Now, this place is becoming a center for science and education, innovation, new ideas, and research. All the necessary conditions have been created here to foster the younger generation in the spirit of national pride and patriotism.

During the event, a profound tribute was paid to the memory of Amir Temur, and flowers were laid at the foot of his monument.

As is well known, Sahibkiran Amir Temur, wherever he was, attached great importance to the creation of gardens and parks and the beautification of cities. Continuing these creative traditions, large-scale landscaping work has also been carried out in Amir Temur Square.

At the end of the event, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev planted a tree in the park.
