Tashkent Metro Acquires Three New Trains

It has been reported that Tashkent Metro has received three new trains (12 carriages) from Russia. After their arrival, the trains will undergo technical testing for 9–10 days, following which they will be put into operation.

This process ensures the trains meet all technical requirements and verifies their safety. Once the tests are successfully completed, the trains will begin serving passengers.

In December, Tashkent Metro served more than one million passengers in a single day for the first time. This milestone demonstrates the city’s transport system's ability to meet growing demands and needs effectively.

For 2025, plans include further increasing passenger capacity and expanding the city's transport infrastructure. The arrival of these new trains marks a significant step forward. These updates, aimed at meeting modern standards, will undoubtedly help transform Tashkent Metro into one of the most advanced transport systems in the region.
