On 27 November, the Russian leader will take part in the CSTO summit, with sessions held in both narrow and expanded formats. The agenda includes the signing of several documents, including the final declaration outlining the unified positions of member states on key international and regional issues. The official program will conclude with a reception hosted by the President of Kyrgyzstan. Products manufactured here with the &quot;Made in Uzbekistan&quot; label under the brands such as &quot;DORSA&quot;, &quot;KLEO&quot;, and &quot;FERRE&quot; are exported to Central Asian countries and Azerbaijan. &ldquo;FERRE&rdquo; trademark also holds a strong niche in the conditions of high competition in the domestic market. The enterprise&#39;s current annual capacity is 250 thousand units of products worth an average of 440 billion soums, and this figure is continuing to grow every year. The production process utilizes materials and components from the world&#39;s leading companies, including EMBRACO, LG, DOW, MIDEA, and FEMAS. Currently, the localization level of the enterprise&#39;s products is nearly 85 percent. The total value of the project is $30 million, involving foreign investment and preferential bank loans. President Shavkat Mirziyoyev reviewed the production process, talked with company&rsquo;s management and specialists, emphasizing the need to expand the range of products that meet international standards and to further strengthen the company&#39;s position in foreign markets. The importance of effectively using the opportunities and incentives provided by the state was noted. It was stated that entrepreneurs who establish their own brands, enhancing our country&#39;s reputation worldwide, will always be supported. They create added value and provide thousands of people with a steady income. - We cannot build the New Uzbekistan without supporting entrepreneurs. If you relentlessly develop, there will be no poverty left in Samarkand. By being proactive, you have the opportunity to make Uzbekistan known to the world, - said the President. The Head of our state emphasized the importance of creating added value and new jobs by increasing the number of such production enterprises in the &quot;Urgut&quot; free economic zone and gave instructions to the responsible officials. Here, the President reviewed investment projects and an exhibition of products manufactured by leading industrial enterprises in Samarkand region. The presentation included information on several projects in healthcare, mining industry, construction materials production, technoparks, sericulture, and metallurgy. A multidisciplinary hospital will be established in Samarkand under a public&ndash;private partnership with leading Turkish companies. In the framework of the project 1 thousand jobs will be created. In Bulungur district it&rsquo;s planned to launch the production of pharmaceuticals in partnership with a Chinese company. This project will provide employment for 1 thousand people. Moreover, Chinese companies presented several new projects, including the production of silk fiber and fabric in Urgut district, the establishment of a special technopark industrial zone in Nurabad district, the preparation of chemical alloys for steel smelting in Samarkand, and the manufacturing of prefabricated structures in the Pastdargom district. Products made in Uzbekistan must be competitive abroad

The construction of this rail road began in February this year, its total length is 55 kilometres. Two railway stations and cargo stations in the &ldquo;Urgut&rdquo; free economic zone and a range of bridges were built in the framework of the project. In the long term full electrification of the line is planned. The new line will allow the movement of two pairs of inter-city trains and nine pairs of cargo trains. The completion of the project is planned by the end of the year. The launch of the train movement will enable to service 359 thousand passengers and transport 8,2 million tons of cargo per year. The line is especially significant due to ensuring the residents of Samarkand city, and Djambay, Pastdargom, Taylak and Urgut districts with safe and modern transport services. Moreover, it will give a new momentum to the development of internal tourism.&nbsp; The railroad infrastructure is one of the key sectors of the economy, and this project will facilitate further development of the &ldquo;Urgut&rdquo; free economic zone potential. The launch of the new line will create 130 new jobs. The Head of our state together with the public representatives took a train to Urgut. During the trip, the President gave additional instructions to responsible officials regarding the development of railway infrastructure, further improvement of passenger comfort, electrification of lines, and enhancement of adjacent areas. He also drew attention to ongoing construction and landscaping work along the railway. It was noted that Urgut district, as a territory with great potential, is becoming increasingly significant. The local population is distinguished by a strong entrepreneurial spirit. In the development of such strategically important districts for the country&rsquo;s economy, modern logistics and infrastructure play a decisive role. With the introduction of the new railway in Urgut, obstacles will be removed, and logistical &ldquo;bottlenecks&rdquo; that previously restricted economic growth will be eliminated. Cargo transportation will accelerate, the delivery of goods to markets will become cheaper and faster, and additional conveniences for investors will expand, ultimately increasing the region&rsquo;s competitiveness. Most importantly, the new opportunities being created in the region will have a direct positive impact on the population&rsquo;s standard of living. In areas with developed infrastructure, the number of jobs increases, services improve, and entrepreneurial activity intensifies. It was noted that this project is an important link in the work to modernize and expand the railway network. Emphasis was placed on the need for timely and high-quality completion of work, the broad introduction of digital technologies, and cost optimization. During the conversation held on the train, it was mentioned that the social and economic transformations taking place in Samarkand are having a clearly visible positive impact on people&#39;s lives. Special attention was given to educating young people in the spirit of patriotism and instilling in them the qualities needed to become creators of the New Uzbekistan. It was also emphasized that the land adjacent to the railway line laid to Urgut should be developed, agricultural culture in these areas should be improved, and cooperation in the field of education, including with neighboring countries, should be strengthened. The Urgut railway station is one of the key stations of the new line. The President drew attention to tasks related to the station&rsquo;s infrastructure, service system, and the organization of passenger flow. It was emphasized that creating conveniences for tourists is important. Here, the Head of State also held a warm conversation with the leadership and active representatives of the Urgut district. The discussion focused on the ongoing changes in the region, people&rsquo;s living standards, and the importance of maintaining peace. It was noted that improving living conditions, increasing incomes and well-being, and developing mahallas remain among the main priorities of state policy. It was emphasized that structural changes in the economy are bearing fruit: major projects are being implemented in industry, agriculture, tourism, transport, and energy. Representatives of the older generation noted that these changes are clearly reflected in people&rsquo;s lives and that the public highly appreciates the reforms being carried out. The President also reviewed a presentation of additional projects aimed at improving the quality of life and economic attractiveness of the area surrounding the station. At the initiative of entrepreneurs, plans include building a bus terminal, a traditional chaikhana (teahouse), an eco-market, residential buildings, private schools, and kindergartens. As a result of these projects, new types of services will become available to residents, the district&rsquo;s social infrastructure will improve, and business activity will further increase. President Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with the ongoing works on developing new railway line “Samarkand – Urgut”.

The new rail road to give a strong impetus to the economic development and welfare of Urgut

During his visit to the Samarkand region in March of this year, the Head of State had reviewed the project for the improvement of the Makhdumi Azam shrine. Originally from present-day Kasansay district, this distinguished Sufi scholar was one of the leading mentors of the Naqshbandi tariqa. After studying at a madrasah in Fergana in his younger years, he attained the level of spiritual mentor in Samarkand under the guidance of Maulana Muhammad Kozi, a follower of Khoja Akhrar Vali. Subsequently, he wrote more than 30 works devoted to the science of tariqa and educated many students. For his contributions to the science, he was granted the title Makhdumi Azam. After a long journey in the pursuit of enlightenment and spirituality, he found his eternal resting place in Samarkand region. Yalangtush Bakhadir, the ruler of Samarkand, built a mausoleum over the grave of Makhdumi Azam and also established a large mosque and a madrasah for students here. After his death, in accordance with his will, he was buried at this site. In total, more than 50 tombstones have been preserved at the shrine, most of which have been identified and belong to concrete people. Along with many scholars, two Afghan rulers: Shah Hidayat ibn Shah Qasim (1668) and Shah Saodat ibn Shah Hidayat were also buried here. Large-scale reconstruction is underway at the mausoleum where the scholar found his eternal rest, as part of the project. The total area of the Makhdumi Azam mausoleum is about 5 hectares. This site is visited by many pilgrims. In order to improve conditions for them, a three-story modern parking area, entrance gates, a dining hall, administrative buildings, takhoratkhona, a mosque designed to accommodate a thousand people, and additional ayvans are being built next to the mausoleum. After the completing the renovation works, the complex will be able to accommodate 35 thousand pilgrims at once. Previously, it could host 5 thousand visitors. Furthermore, landscaping work is being carried out in the area to create further amenities for pilgrims, and more than 40 trade and service facilities will be established. The spirit of the venerable figure was commemorated with a recitation of the Quran. The President planted a tree at the pilgrimage site.
