The Agency for Innovative Development formed a new composition of the Public Council

Yesterday, July 21, a regular meeting of the Public Council of the Agency for Innovative Development was held. It was also attended by a new board member, founder of Bright Uzbekistan Davron Abdullayev.
Yesterday, July 21, a regular meeting of the Public Council of the Agency for Innovative Development was held. It was attended by members of the Public Council, journalists and a team led by the head of the Agency for Innovative Development.
The meeting was opened by the Chairman of the Council Abdurashid Khasanov and presented the issues scheduled for discussion on the agenda. He also presented the updated and expanded composition of the Public Council.
The event with an expanded new line-up was attended by: Abdurashid Khasanov, Dilorom Tashmukhamedova, Soibjon Negmatov, Feruza Juraeva, Bakhtinur Khudanov, Azizkhan Umarokhanov, Gulsara Sagathonova, Davron Abdullayev, Otabek Kakhkhorov, Bekzod Tokhtamurodov, Shodi Khalikulov, Ibragim Askarov, Khait Turaev, Bakhodir Mukhiddinov.
In the first part of the meeting, the director of the Agency for Innovative Development, Olimjon Tuychiev, made a report on the results of the agency's activities in the first half of 2023. The report provided the following information:
• on the formation and monitoring of state scientific programs;
• on the position of Uzbekistan in the ranking of the Global Innovation Index;
• on the development of commercialization and technology transfer;
• on the development of an innovation ecosystem at the enterprises of the industry;
• on indicators of investments in science and innovation and attraction of foreign grants;
• on the development of international scientific cooperation;
• on the integration of science and education;
• about start-up projects
He informed the audience about the results of the work done, achievements and changes made.
Olimjon Tuychiev also informed the board members about the priorities and organizational structure of the Innovative Development Agency, the main priorities and additional tasks assigned to the Innovative Development Agency in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated July 3, 2023.
In the second part of the meeting, employees of the Agency for Innovative Development made presentations on the work done on the integrated development of districts and microdistricts of Tashkent, grants allocated to social sectors under government programs related to scientific activities, on work to increase the innovative potential of the regions and turn the Syrdarya region into an innovative region.
At the same time, members of the Public Council expressed their suggestions and comments on improving the activities of the agency, and a session of questions and answers was held on the work done in various areas.
