The Armed Forces of Uzbekistan have claimed the 19th position in the ranking of the world's most powerful armies, according to US News and World Report.
The top positions in the ranking are held by Russia, the United States, and Israel, followed by China, South Korea, Iran, the United Kingdom, Ukraine, Germany, and Turkey. Jordan rounds out the top 20.
Previously, experts from Global Firepower, a website that has tracked the military strength of 145 countries since 2019 by evaluating over 60 criteria—such as financial resources, logistics, and geographic characteristics—reported that the United States, Russia, and China remained in the top three this year, with China, Pakistan, and India competing closely for fourth place.
