The agricultural census will provide accurate data on land use, livestock, and poultry, as well as assess the effectiveness of the 25.6 trillion soums allocated annually to the sector. Community representatives will undergo special training and receive financial incentives. A broad information campaign through media and social networks will also be launched. For the first time in 37 years, Uzbekistan will conduct a nationwide census of both population and agriculture. President Shavkat Mirziyoyev approved the plan to carry it out from January 15 to February 28, 2026.

Over the past eight years, the region has attracted $18 billion in investments and opened 10,000 enterprises. This year, exports exceeded $1 billion in just eight months &mdash; a record for the region.
