The first stage of electric car production to be launched in Fergana

At the first stage of the three-stage project, where the production of electric cars is planned, a car showroom will be opened to sell Chinese cars. In subsequent stages, it is planned to localise assembly and production in the region.

The preliminary stage of the three-stage project on production of electric cars is planned to start in Fergana. This is reported by the press service of the regional government.
It is noted that the regional governor Khairullo Bozarov met with a group of Chinese investors. The meeting discussed projects that are planned to be implemented in the region at the expense of direct Chinese investment.
The first phase of a planned three-phase electric car project is underway with the opening of a car dealership to sell Chinese cars. At the same time, it is noted that cars with high demand will be supplied as a result of studying the population's demand.
At the second stage their assembly in the territory of the region will be established. The third stage envisages full localisation of car production. It is not specified which company will implement the project.
It was also noted that work is being carried out on weaving, re-dyeing and flower printing enterprises of natural and artificial fabrics.
It is reported that in the coming days will be laid the "cornerstone" of the honey processing enterprise, which is planned to be located in the small industrial zone "Bakai" in the city of Fergana.
Khairullo Bozarov expressed readiness to provide all-round assistance for quick and successful implementation of these important projects for the economy of the region.
