The First Trilateral Summit of Mirziyoyev, Japarov, and Rahmon to Be Held in Tajikistan

On March 31, 2025, the first trilateral summit of the leaders of Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan will take place in the city of Khujand, Tajikistan. This was announced by the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan, Edil Baisalov, during his participation in the High-Level Segment of the 58th session of the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva.
According to him, this summit will be an important step in strengthening regional cooperation.
Earlier, on February 21, the final protocol on the delimitation of the Kyrgyz-Tajik border was signed, and a number of documents were prepared:
The state border agreement;
Agreements between the governments on energy facilities and water resources;
An agreement on the use of cross-border roads and the construction of new roads.
These documents have been prepared for signing by the leaders of the two states.
