The Head of State Pays Tribute to the Memory of Kallibek Kamalov

Before the start of the trip, the Head of State visited the home of the prominent statesman and public figure Kallibek Kamalov. Verses from the Quran were recited, and a prayer was offered for the deceased.

The Head of State recalled Kamalov’s exemplary life, his good deeds, and his contributions to the development of his native region. He emphasized that honoring the memory of the departed and respecting elders serve as an example for the younger generation.

Kallibek Kamalov, who passed away in February of this year, held leadership positions in Karakalpakstan for many years and made significant contributions to the region's socio-economic development, the growth of industry and agriculture, and the improvement of the population's quality of life.

In his later years, as chairman of the public council of veterans, he was actively involved in supporting the older generation, fostering harmony, and mentoring the youth. His contributions were recognized with the "Shuhrat" medal and the "El-Yurt Hurmati" order.
