The President of Uzbekistan congratulated the Mongolian people on the upcoming national holiday - People's Revolution Day, noting Mongolia's successes in socio-economic reforms and strengthening its international authority.

The main outcome of the visit was the signing of the Joint Declaration on Comprehensive Partnership, which opens a new stage in Uzbek-Mongolian relations. "We thoroughly discussed the promising areas of practical interaction and defined specific tasks for the future," Mirziyoyev said.

Special attention was paid to issues of economic cooperation. An agreement was reached to significantly increase trade turnover, open an Uzbekistan Trade House in Ulaanbaatar, and implement joint projects in the mining, agricultural, and light industries, including wool and leather processing.

According to the Uzbek leader, agreements on preferential trade and mutual protection of investments will be signed soon. It was also agreed to launch direct flights between the capitals starting this autumn.

The leaders confirmed their intention to continue cooperation within the framework of the UN, SCO, and other international structures, as well as to develop cultural and educational exchanges. In particular, Uzbekistan is ready to accept Mongolian youth to its universities within the framework of quotas.

The governments of the two countries will develop a comprehensive "roadmap" for the implementation of all agreements reached.

At the end of the talks, Shavkat Mirziyoyev invited Mongolian President Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh to Uzbekistan on an official visit.
