The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan has officially refuted the reports circulated on social networks on May 2 regarding alleged cases of Uzbek citizens being denied entry to the territory of the Russian Federation. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan.

"During the monitoring of citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Representation of the Agency for External Labor Migration of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the Russian Federation reports that during negotiations with responsible employees of Vnukovo, Sheremetyevo, and Domodedovo airports in Moscow, it was clarified that citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan did not encounter any problems entering the territory of the Russian Federation through the checkpoints of Vnukovo, Sheremetyevo, and Domodedovo airports, or with the forcible detention of citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan," the statement said.

In addition, it is emphasized that through the checkpoints of the Orenburg, Samara, and Saratov regions, such as "Ozinki", "Mashtakovo", and "Sagarchin", no cases of entry bans to the territory of Russia for citizens of Uzbekistan have been recorded.
