The official opening ceremony of the "Uzbekistan-France" Economic Chamber took place in Tashkent

The initiative was voiced by the heads of state during the visit of the President of the French Republic, Emmanuel Macron, to Uzbekistan in November 2023. This was reported on the Government Portal of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
It is reported that the France-Uzbekistan Economic Chamber currently unites more than 50 French companies and entrepreneurs, as well as their Uzbek partners.
The Chamber maintains relations with the state bodies of both countries and advises them on improving the business climate. The Chamber also actively advocates for the interests of French and Uzbek entrepreneurs who are members of it.
During the event, the parties discussed the prospects for the development of French companies' activities in Uzbekistan in such priority areas as agriculture, tourism, mining industry, energy, etc.
The readiness to provide comprehensive support to both sides in further developing mutually beneficial projects was announced.
On the sidelines of the event, the Minister of Investments, Industry, and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Laziz Kudratov, and the President of the "Uzbekistan-France" Economic Chamber, Joan Gola, signed a Memorandum of Cooperation, which defined specific mechanisms for further interaction within the priority areas of the Chamber's activities.
