The President discussed key projects and preparations for the upcoming "Central Asia - EU" summit with EU diplomacy chief Kaya Kallas. The agenda includes trade, green energy, digitalization, and ambitious plans for expanded partnership.

On March 27, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received a delegation of the European Union headed by the High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs Kay Kallas. During the negotiations, the parties discussed the development of economic ties, key joint projects, and preparations for the "Central Asia - EU" summit, which will be held on April 3-4 in Samarkand.

Special attention was paid to trade, logistics, and infrastructure modernization, as well as expanding cooperation in green energy and digitalization.

Uzbekistan's accession to the World Trade Organization and the signing of a new Enhanced Partnership and Cooperation Agreement with the EU were also discussed.

The meeting took place amid an active dialogue between Uzbekistan and European structures and the strengthening of economic ties between the regions.
